History of WOT
It was February 6, 2020 (KD’s birthday) when KD SEKAI started streaming on Spoon Global. The original plan was to play an instrument and sing live, but unfortunately it was midnight and KD's family were already asleep, so KD ended up playing anime music instead, using bluetooth speakers, a computer and a phone, where the Spoon app is. The goal of that livestream was to do anime radio since no one was playing anime content in the app. KD's very first listener was GhostDaBest, and this guy stayed in the live for a full 2 hours just requesting and listening to “Date A Live'' openings and endings. The next day, Ghost came back to visit the stream again at the same time. KD decided to get Ghost’s Snapchat to connect and get to know each other more as friends. A few days later, the two became close and met another weeb friend Daniel O. On February 9, 2020, (WOT Anniversary) they decided to build a community called “Weebs of Spoon'' where all weeb members will come from the Spoon App. The first three people who attended the first “Weebs of Spoon Anime Radio” stream aside from GhostDaBest and Danicage were AKsniper, Sai and Melissa. KD decided to make all of the first five members become leaders of the community to guide the first few members, they were known as “KAGE”, GhostDaBest (Suchikage), KD SEKAI (Sekaige), Daniel (Danikage/Danicage), AKsniper (AKage), Sai (Saikage), and Melissa (Melkage). It was a successful first year for them because they were able to build such an active community with more than 200 members in the Discord Server and over 18 thousand fans from Spoon.

During the first two weeks of Weebs of Spoon, they used to be just video calling and chatting in their snapchat group chat, but later on, they realized that they can do more fun stuff and be more organized on Discord, and not all that, Snapchat had a limitation of how many members who can join the gc, so GhostDaBest made a Discord server for the community. Weebs of Spoon made a Facebook private group page as well, but it didn’t work well since there are more people who are more active on Snapchat and Discord. To make the bond stronger, they made official community activities such as game nights, movie nights, workshops and different kinds of anime related streams. KAGE's responsibilities/roles:
To make the community more challenging, fun and to motivate people to attend activities, the “Ninja Ranking System” was made. Each member will gain a certain amount of points in each official community event they attended. The higher the amount of points earned, the higher they will rank up on the server. The ranking system is what Weebs of Spoon uses to give members a role. Weebs of Spoon used to have “Ninjas” as the theme of the community, which was referenced to “Naruto”.
As time went by, the KAGEs needed help to make the community more organized, and so they decided to get some talented people from the community to help out. KD built a group called “ANBU OPS”, which was referenced to “Naruto”. It was secret group that consisted of chosen members to work behind the scenes with KAGEs. Since some issues could arise from this idea, KD and the “ANBU OPS” kept the chosen members secret. The group consists of helpers in the Discord server, managers of social media community accounts, brainstormers, and game night hosts.

By the end of the year 2020, GhostDaBest made a new set of KAGE called KAIJU through an election. Since most of the KAGE except for Ghost and KD became busy with their personal lives and can’t handle taking care of the community anymore, Ghost decided to just elect more active people to lead the community with them. Year 2021, Ghost, KD and the other KAIJU (Ray Kitsune, Anna Banana, and Ary Chlumsky) organized the discord server again. They replaced the rank names with Sensei (Jounin), Senpai (Chunin), and Kouhai (Genin). They also replaced the name of the “Weebs of Spoon” to “Weebs of TeeHuh”. Instead of calling everyone “Ninjas”, they were now called “Weebs”. The ranking system still worked the same, and ANBU OPS were still a thing. There was a new addition to the ranking system called “Taichou” meaning “Captain” in English. These people needed to reach 800 points and pass a community test. This way, the community can sort out people who know the community better, and honor them. This is the reason why the theme of the 2021 was "Weebs of TeeHuh PLUS ULTRA" because aside from these upgrades, there were some crazy and fun goals that should've happened around summer.
Later on, KD decided to terminate the KAIJU role because of some issues that arose. The ranking system was kept except there were no more Kaiju working with former KAGE. This led to changing the poster for the ranking system. The community went on a hiatus for almost a year, and PLUS ULTRA activities were postponed or stopped. However, the greatest update here is the "Weekly Check-In", which only available on the Discord server. This gives you more points every week of checking-in.
Update Notice: The Taichou Rank Eligibility now changed. You need to reach atleast 1000 points and able to pass the Taichou Test to get it. Being Taichou would give you more advantage with a lot of stuff especially when you want to be part of the community staff member. Here's the updated requirements for ranks.
For the year of 2022, KD and Ghost decided to rebuild the community and make it a better place for everyone by adding more bots in the server and adding more stricter rules. With the help of remaining active members, activities will be updated and will be more public and not only kept inside of the community, but also anyone from outside of the community can participate with us and join the family. This year the theme would be "Rise of TeeHuh" because the community is rebuilding and coming back as a cooler community.
The crest of the community that is still in use is the Fishcake emoji since it represents Anime in general and the Naruto maki. Fishcake emoji became like an identity of each member of WOT on streaming platforms even on Discord to represent the family. Though not everyone is required to use that emoji in their names, it still signifies something to us that made the community more well known throughout the Spoon App. (FYI: the old emoji that we were using before was Ramen emoji, but because one of the big streamers were unexpectedly using it as well, we decided to change it to Naruto Fishcake).
The very first national anthem of Weebs of TeeHuh was "Sweet Dreams Are Made Of Weebs". Since KD wrote a new song for the community, the national anthem changed to Raising Flags (Battle Song). This was written by KD SEKAI and Harmonist Kris. Performed by them and was arranged and produced by KD SEKAI.
Weebs of TeeHuh also have official mascot. Before it was Teemee, but because of the rights issue with the artist, we changed it to something more related to the logo of the community. Someone who is an angel and demon. With halo and tail. A cute loli that we aren't sure if she's a trap or nah lmao. Meet "Teelita Huhsita a.k.a Teehuhlita.
